Odd Goose Table was created from a belief that some of life’s best moments happen around a table.
Not because of the table itself, but because of what happens around it.
People stay longer than planned.
Conversations become more meaningful. Food becomes part of a memory.
Ordinary evenings become stories people talk about afterwards.
That idea became the foundation of Odd Goose Table.
We set out to create dining experiences that feel intentional, social, and memorable from beginning to end.
Today, Odd Goose Table creates long-table experiences designed to bring people together in beautiful settings across South Africa.
How It Started
The idea for Odd Goose Table came from noticing something simple.
Most dining experiences focus on getting people in and out efficiently.
Reservations are short. Tables are separate. Experiences often feel rushed.
We started asking a different question.
What would happen if the table became the destination?
What if people arrived with time to settle in, stayed longer, and shared one experience together?
That question led to the first plans, long tables, carefully chosen venues, curated menus, and evenings designed to unfold naturally.
